During their patrol duty, police officers from the Hermann-Bahr-Strasse police station noticed how a youth in Vienna’s 21st district pushed another young man to the ground and then fled with the loot. The officers gave chase and managed to confront the boy.
After the facts were clarified, the detainee, a 17-year-old Austrian, was arrested. The officers’ suspicion that it was a robbery was confirmed.
Vest and shoulder bag stolen
The 17-year-old would have beaten his victim (15) and robbed him of a vest and shoulder bag. The boy was slightly injured. The attacker also allegedly tried to take the watch from his companion, a 17-year-old, but failed. The stolen items have not yet been found.
