In the Basque Autonomous Community there are 22,100 more unemployed than in December last year, while in Navarre there are 1,500 fewer.
According to the Active Population Survey (EPA), published on Friday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE). Over the past quarter, the number of unemployed in the BAC increased by 22,100, while in Navarra it decreased by 1,500.
In total there are 985,000 working people and 91,900 unemployed in the BAC. In Navarre, the total number of unemployed is 29,400 and there are 303,900 employees.
In the Spanish state as a whole, the number of people employed in the first quarter of the year fell by 139,700 people, compared to the previous one, to 21.25 million, while unemployment rose by 117,000 to 2.97 million, raising the unemployment rate 12 .29%.
