A dispute between three men in an attic apartment in Innsbruck has completely escalated on Friday evening: a 25-year-old Moroccan allegedly attacked his two opponents with an iron bar and a saw, in some cases seriously injuring them. After the alerted police arrived, the suspect fell off the roof while trying to escape!
According to the police, the argument in the attic apartment broke out around midnight. The 25-year-old Moroccan is suspected of having pulled an iron bar of 75 centimeters over the head of an Austrian (29) during the argument. The victim suffered a broken nose.
Cut into bone with saw
But that’s not all: the suspect is said to have attacked another person present with a saw. “The 32-year-old Austrian suffered a gaping cut on his leg,” the researchers said.
Broken heel bone in fall from roof
After the arrival of three police patrols and a patrol from the Rapid Intervention Group (SIG), the suspect was found on the roof of the apartment building. “During the ensuing escape attempt, the 25-year-old fell about four meters from the roof onto a canopy,” the director continued.
The Moroccan broke his heel bone in the crash. He was arrested and eventually transferred to the police detention center. Further investigations are ongoing.
