Date:

The military parade at Horse Guards Parade in London is followed by a Royal Air Force air show. This maneuver was originally planned for Charles’s coronation in early May, but had to be scaled back significantly due to bad weather at the time.

Almost 30 degrees Celsius expected during parade
The official birthday of the British monarch is traditionally celebrated in June, also because temperatures are usually milder then. This year, however, almost 30 degrees Celsius is expected. During rehearsals, several uniformed soldiers passed out. King Charles’ actual birthday is in November. About 1400 soldiers and 200 horses take part in the show. Charles is accompanied by his wife Queen Camilla and other relatives.
