The Ertzaintza unions Erne, Esan and Sipe have accused leaders of the Ertzainas en lucha platform of ‘counter-programming’ their protests, and have warned that their ‘attempts to obstruct their rallies’ will not stop them.
In a statement, the three unions representing the Union action unit of the Ertzaintzathey called mobilize on June 27 “en masse”for the headquarters of the Lehendakaritza, in Vitoria, with the aim of “updating and improving” their “working conditions” through a “regulatory agreement worthy of all”.
As they have indicated, the request was registered on June 16 and “was announced in a public note by the unions” at noon that day.
ErNE, Esan and Sipe added that “to everyone’s surprise” the leaders of ‘Ertzainas and lucha’ called for caravans of vehicles in the afternoon before June 27, “to counter this call from the Ertzaintza unions.”
The three unions have warned that “neither the immobility of the Ministry of Security nor the efforts to hinder the concentrations of ertzainas that the seven people who lead the non-union movement intend to carry out” will stop them. “Enough to face the ertzainas, the only opponent is the ministry [de Seguridad]they warned.
In addition, after asking the Security Council of the Basque Government, Josu Erkoreka, to “sit down to negotiate”, they invited ELA-Ertzaintza, EKOS, EBE, EAE, Euspel and ‘Ertzainas en lucha’ to support the mobilization on June support. 27 in victory.
