A dangerous action by a 36-year-old Saturday evening: he cycled on the Pyhrnautobahn (A9) near Gratkorn in Styria and activated a tunnel lock. His navigation system would have led him there. He was subsequently reported for multiple violations.
You don’t see something like this every day: A man (36) cycled in Gratkorn towards Graz on Saturday evening. But not on a bike path, but on the Pyhrnautobahn! The police were notified and the tunnel control center immediately closed the Gratkorn tunnel north of Graz.
Shortly afterwards, the police stopped the cyclist in Gratkorntunnel 3 and took him safely off the highway. The tunnel closure lasted 20 minutes.
Cyclist was disabled
The police then questioned the Lebanese: the navigation system had accidentally led him to Graz this way. During a check, agents also seized a few grams of cannabis. The 36-year-old himself seemed disoriented, so the police doctor examined him and found him unfit to drive.
Now it appears several times.
