A patient died in the Salzburg University Hospital on Thursday evening. The Salzburger (50) had been hospitalized due to a previous illness. The patient died in the lung medicine sleep lab.

As the hospital announced on Friday, the 50-year-old man from the center of Salzburg had been referred to hospital by a specialist because of a previous illness and the associated high health risk. The death occurred there during the diagnostic clarification.
