While she was reportedly searching the internet for a dog sitter, a 63-year-old allegedly lured a 19-year-old to an apartment in Vienna for a Thursday night introductory meeting and forced her to take her clothes off.
After an initially normal conversation, the 63-year-old allegedly threatened the young woman with a knife and asked her to undress. Soon after, the 19-year-old was able to use the man’s inattentive moment to grab a beer mug and hit the 63-year-old multiple times on the head.
Defended with punches and kicks
However, he still had the knife in his hands, so she also defended herself with punches and kicks to escape from the apartment in the Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus district. Fortunately, she managed to escape from the apartment covered in blood and call the police.
hearing is pending
A short time later, police arrested the 63-year-old. Both he and the young woman, who was injured in her hands and legs, had to be treated by the Viennese professional rescue service. The 63-year-old was then taken to hospital. An interrogation is still underway.
Whether the man lured the woman into the apartment with the ad or decided to commit the crime only during the meeting is still under investigation. At least the man has a dog. An investigation is now underway into attempted rape against the 63-year-old.
