Kept in the apartment on a 60 centimeter short metal chain and electrocuted every time the dog barked: A serious case of animal abuse was discovered in a community in the southwest of Waldviertel. Since June 2022, the Staffordshire terrier, who was only six months old at the time, has endured the torture. His 25-year-old mistress put a banned training collar on him for up to five hours a day. If the dog made a noise, it received an electric shock – the strength of the shocks increased continuously.
