He allegedly abused his own daughters and even got them pregnant – an Australian woman made these serious accusations against her husband Bradley L. But that was all a lie. However, a self-proclaimed vigilante group believed the mother and tortured the 30-year-old father of eight to death.
The popular holiday resort of Lackes Entrance in southeastern Australia’s state of Victoria was rocked by a brutal crime in 2018. The wife of L. (35) came up with wild stories to put a gang on him: the 30-year-old is said to have abused and impregnated two of her daughters. Jana H. also claimed this in the presence of four men who had set up a kind of vigilante group against pedophiles with “Freedom Fighters”. The quartet believed the woman, who, according to Australian media, was addicted to meth.
Victim was robbed during a nap
When the violent men of the “Freedom Fighters” showed up on the doorstep, the woman willingly opened the door and let the armed gang into the house, where the eventual victim took a nap after work. The lynch mob first beat L. with iron bars and finally put him in the trunk of a car. There he had to spend several hours in the scorching heat.
Then the defenseless victim was taken to a remote area and tortured with a chainsaw and a tattoo needle. The group wanted to force a confession from L. with this brutal procedure, but they did not succeed. In the end, he was shot with a shotgun. Then the perpetrators buried the body in the outback.
Woman could be free again after four and a half years
The four men and the victim’s wife were eventually located and arrested. The woman was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison and can be paroled after four and a half years. The leader of the “vigilantes” was eventually found guilty of murder – he allegedly fired the fatal shot. Another suspect has been sentenced to ten years in prison for involvement in a murder. He would have spread the rumors about pedophilia. Two other men were found guilty of assault and false imprisonment.
