While information circulates that Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin is in exile in Belarus, experts have noted that his private jet has returned to Russia.
The Embraer Legacy 600 private jet (tail number RA-02795), believed to be owned by Prigozhin, has returned to Russia after a one-day visit to Minsk, according to the Belaruski Gajun Monitoring Project. Accordingly, at 22:39 local time, the machine took off in the direction of Russia. For example, the plane “parked” at the Makhulishchi military airport in the Belarusian capital for a total of 14 hours and 59 minutes.
According to the FlightRadar24 service, Wagner’s boss’s jet crossed the border between Belarus and Russia and then headed for Moscow. The plane then disappeared from radar over the Moscow region.
Jet on sanctions list
The business jet Embraer Legacy 600 with flight number RA-02795 was always seen in the cities Prigozhin visited in May and June. It is said to have taken off from Rostov-on-Don to the northern Russian metropolis of Saint Petersburg the day after the Wagner uprising, after which it was sighted in Minsk. Incidentally, since 2020, Putin’s chef’s private plane has had a new license plate – because it is on the US sanctions list under the old one.
