Two serious accidents in Upper Austria took motorcyclists to hospital on Thursday. Particularly tragic: a 19-year-old fell so badly without outside influence that the emergency doctor had to be called.
A 19-year-old from Alberndorf in der Riedmark drove on Kefermarktstraße towards Gutau on Thursday evening. In a left turn, the young man fell for still unknown reasons – it should not be anyone else’s fault. The 19-year-old was seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital in Freistadt by the emergency doctor.
55-year-old had an accident in Hellmonsödt
It also crashed heavily in Hellmonsödt on Thursday evening. The accident involved a 75-year-old motorist from Schenkenfelden and a 55-year-old motorcyclist from Reichenau. The eldest drove towards Reichenau, wanted to turn left in Oberaigen. The 55-year-old approached him on his motorcycle and a collision ensued.
The motorcyclist fell and landed next to the car. He was also seriously injured and taken to hospital by ambulance.
