The police in Tyrol are investigating an attempted robbery in Seefeld (sub-municipality of Innsbruck-Land) on Saturday night and are looking for two Italian suspects. According to unconfirmed information, the starting point was the local casino. There, the two men wanted to force a 52-year-old compatriot to hand over a five-figure euro amount. They later ambushed the man in front of a hotel.
According to the police, there were several threats of violence against the man and his children in the casino from midnight. He refused to hand over his money and left the casino around 3 am. He asked the bouncer to accompany him to the nearby hotel. Suddenly the two men stood in front of them with a wooden bar in their hands and wanted to physically attack them. However, they managed to escape to the hotel and called the police.

In the course of the investigation, the identities of the two suspects have now been established. It concerns a 36-year-old and a 62-year-old Italian citizen. Both have not yet been identified.
