After the state elections, local parties are trying to position themselves for the 2024 municipal elections, waving like flags in the wind and with poorly thought-out solutions, for example in terms of housing or public transport. In the city, two alliances tease each other.
Salzburg is ready for the next election campaign and the parties are already sending out their harbingers for next spring’s elections. In the discussion about the new spatial development concept (REK) of the city of Salzburg, an alliance of SPÖ, Bürgerliste and Neos emerged. Ingeborg Haller (citizen list), Johanna Schnellinger (SPÖ) and Lukas Rösslhuber (Neos) are presenting their ideas on this today, Monday – calling for a fresh start. Because the REK is about important decisions in urban development – whether it concerns housing or transport – for the coming decades.
