It is still unclear what the motives were for making a 26-year-old man from the Carinthian district of St. Veit into a burglar, but apparently the act was very exhausting.
Around 13:00 a 45-year-old woman from Klagenfurt filed a report with the police. “She reports that her apartment has been broken into and that the perpetrator is still there,” the police said. “When officers arrived, they found a man asleep in the bedroom.” After officers woke up the 26-year-old, they arrested him.
“During the official act it turned out that the man had already unleashed a police action in the morning hours,” the police said. “He tried unsuccessfully to break into a nearby apartment.”
