He already knew he would fail a drug test. A 31-year-old driver had therefore taken precautions and wanted to fool the police in Mondsee. But that went wrong.
The 31-year-old Tyrolean was asked around 8:45 am for a routine check of the driver and vehicle in Mondsee – suspected drug use. At the place of detention, he agreed to a voluntary urine test. This was initially negative; However, since the 31-year-old showed several obvious disorders and the urine administration also left doubts, he was faced with the suspicion of using fake urine.
He initially denied it, but eventually admitted to using synthetic urine. A repeat urine test was positive for cannabis and cocaine. The 31-year-old was presented for a clinical examination, which revealed that he was unable to drive. His driver’s license was provisionally suspended. The suspect is reported to the BH Vöcklabruck for falsifying evidence from the Wels prosecutor’s office and for driving a vehicle in a drug-infested state.
