Six people died and dozens more were injured in a fire at a retirement home in Milan on Friday night. 81 people were taken to hospitals, three of whom are in critical condition, Italian media reported.
Two seniors died in the fire, which broke out around 1:20 a.m. Another four people died from the smoke that entered the first floor of the retirement home and then spread to the rest of the building. 40 people suffered smoke inhalation.
