A dangerous criminal escaped from a Pennsylvania prison last week. The police have now found suspicious traces in a forest area and a large reward has been offered for information.
Michael Burham was incarcerated at the Warren County Jail. With the help of training equipment, he managed to get to a roof and abseil from there with sheets. “He’s a dangerous person and I think there’s a good chance he’s armed,” police officer George Bevins said.
Now there’s a hot lead to the fugitive: “We found campsites near Warren in wooded areas and believe these places are connected to Burham,” Bevins continues. The police advises all residents to properly close their homes and vehicles. A $9,500 reward is being offered for information leading to Burham’s arrest.
Long list of offenses – including murder
Burham had been arrested for arson and burglary. He is also suspected of committing a murder in New York and kidnapping a Pennsylvania couple.
