A 19-year-old is beaten after a party in the Styrian-Burgenland border region, in Kittsee three strangers knock down a partygoer in the street – the brutality of the perpetrators is shocking. Witnesses are being sought in both cases.
After a traditional festival, the guest from the Styrian district of Hartberg-Fürstenfeld was on his way home when he was attacked and beaten up. The 19-year-old victim is slowly recovering from this shock.
Perpetrator jumped out of the car
According to the police, the dramatic incident happened on the night of July 1. The young Styrian walked home around 1 a.m. in the direction of Lafnitz near the border with Burgenland. On the municipal road just before the place name sign, a car stopped abruptly next to the 19-year-old. An unknown man jumped out of the car and brutally punched him in the face. The victim fell to the ground.

The attacker immediately fled from the car while two witnesses rushed to the seriously injured man. The two courageously administered first aid, after which the patient was taken to Oberwart Hospital. A few days later, the following shocking incident happened. On the night of July 9, a guest in Kittsee was marching home from a beach party when he was surprised by three strangers near the castle around 4 a.m. The trio did not hesitate for a moment and hit the passer-by – wounded!
