No breathing space for our fire brigades: a fire alarm went off on Tuesday evening at a mobile home site in Forchtenstein (Burgenland). Volunteers were on site en masse. They quickly got the situation under control.
Nothing came of a pleasant, sultry summer evening. In the middle of it all, 45 members of the local fire brigade had to go to the reservoir in Forchtenstein with full equipment. They approached with eight emergency vehicles, followed by the ambulance and police.

A fire was discovered in the ceiling of a mobile home. The volunteers responded quickly. Comrades with respiratory protection were ready. The all-clear was soon given.
“The cause of the fire is not yet clear,” said a spokesperson for the fire service. There were no injuries!
