On Wednesday around 8:15 a.m., the Turk 48) and his truck were checked by the police as part of heavy vehicle checks in the Dölsach municipality on Drautalstraße. The officials determined that the truck driver did not have a valid driver’s license as it had expired in March 2022.

In addition, he transported dangerous goods without cargo securing and defects were found in the labeling of the packages and the transport document. The 48-year-old was banned from driving and will report this to the responsible authorities.

Highly flammable liquid
Specifically, the man had loaded ten-liter barrels with a highly flammable liquid. “It’s some kind of paint,” a police officer told the “Krone”. If the load were to be left lying around, something in an accident, the liquid could easily have spilled.
