In the Salzburger Pinzgau, the police have investigated a group of dealers who probably earned more than two million euros from selling drugs. The 13 suspects are said to have sold at least 200 kilograms of marijuana, two kilograms of speed and one kilogram of cocaine over a long period, mainly in the vicinity of Zell am See and Saalfelden. The majority of them are still young, the state police reported on Wednesday.
Among other things, the group bought the drugs in the city of Salzburg, brought them to the Pinzgau and sold them there – about 60 buyers are now known by name to the police. In addition, individual dealers are also accused of aggravated robberies. They allegedly threatened their victim with a firearm during a drug sale and then took drugs worth around 2,500 euros and two mobile phones from him. They then locked their victim in a cellar and fled. The victim was then able to free herself from the cellar, but did not press charges for fear.
Four suspects are in custody
The prosecution issued arrest warrants against four of the 13 suspects. Three of them have been arrested by the police, the fourth was already in prison for another crime. The group members are 16 to 25 years old, most of them are still teenagers. Some of them are Austrians, but some also have other nationalities.
