Shock for a teenager (15) in Innsbruck Sunday evening: two other teenagers wanted to rob him and took out a knife. The victim also received two blows. The search for the perpetrators initially yielded no results. The police ask for information.
The wild scenes took place around 5:50 p.m. The 15-year-old told officials at Hötting’s office that he had been threatened with a knife by two young people in the area of the footpath between Viktor-Franz-Hess-Straße and Clemens-Holzmeister-Straße. “They asked him to hand over his wallet and a necklace,” said the director. The 15-year-old then took his wallet from his fanny pack. One of the two attackers wanted to snatch it from his hands.
Victim was able to flee
Failing to do so, he slapped the 15-year-old twice in the face. The victim then fled home. The attackers are said to be youths aged 15 and 16 who are about six feet tall. One of the two would be of Asian descent. He has short black hair and wore, among other things, a black cap and a Prada fanny pack and was dressed in dark clothing. The second perpetrator is probably of Turkish or Kurdish origin. He is broadly built and was also dressed in dark. An immediate manhunt was initially unsuccessful.
The police ask any witnesses for information to the Hötting department: 059133/7582
