Millions of people have fled the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, including to Austria. A Russian on vacation in Salzburg filmed herself insulting Ukrainians walking around the city (see video above). The punishment for that followed.
In the video that the Russian, loyal to Putin, herself uploaded on her Telegram channel, she rudely insults Ukraine, shouts “Glory to Russia” to the women who were on the road in the center of Salzburg and sings ” Russia will win”.
mockery of occupied territory
In addition, she asks, “Who owns Kherson?” – The territory in southern Ukraine occupied by Russian troops. When a Ukrainian answers: “Kherson belongs to Ukraine,” the Russian says sarcastically: “Yes, yes, yes to Ukraine! A referendum will be held there.” Indeed, pro-Russian forces want to hold a referendum there on the union with Russia.
The woman’s Telegram channel has now been made private, but the video has been widely shared on social networks. Many users were upset about the unacceptable behavior, and further development was seen by many as balancing justice.
Because apparently their accommodation provider also got wind of the action. In another video, the Russian complains that the Booking.com portal has canceled her booking. “Are you happy now?! You guys ruined my vacation!” she says (see tweet above).
Propagandist is known to the police
The Russian citizen is not just anyone, but a well-known propagandist: she has already drawn attention to herself several times with similar actions. The woman, who lives in Bavaria, is also said to have boasted online that she was illegally in Germany. The police of Lower Bavaria is therefore investigating them, they say on Twitter.
