Tubacex doubles its profit in the first half of the year to 20 million euros

The Basque company has increased its turnover by 22.9%, after a turnover of 435 million, the highest in the Group’s history.

Tubacex has reached a profit of 20 million euros in the first half of 2023, more than double (119.3%) than what was achieved in that period last year, after a turnover of 435 million, the highest in the Group’s history.

In a statement to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), Álava company detailed its results for the first half of 2023, highlighting “the great strength” achieved through its business model and “a historic portfolio.”

Sales for the semester were the “highest in Tubacex’s history” at EUR 434.8 million, an increase of 22.9% compared to the same period last year.

Accumulated EBITDA to June was 64.3 million, with a margin of 14.8% on sales, placing the group within its strategic target.

The group has announced that it continues to improve its results for the eighth consecutive quarter, with an EBITDA of EUR 33.9 million and a quarterly margin of 16.7%, the highest in the company’s history.

EBITDA¿ is a financial indicator of gross operating profit, calculated before the deduction of financial charges, ie interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization.
