Suddenly everything went very fast: actually a subway driver in Vienna was just about to check a carriage at the Schottentor station when a presumably young man suddenly slapped him in the face. The unknown is now being sought.
The incident occurred on June 17 (around 5:50 am). The teen allegedly left the crime scene immediately after the blow – another person followed him. The public transport driver was injured in the attack.
The police ask for information
The police have now released photos of the alleged perpetrator. “Witnesses who noticed the suspect before, during or after his escape are requested to contact the police,” the management said in a broadcast on Monday.
