In Bad Waltersdorf in the Styrian district of Hartberg-Fürstenfeld, a terrible accident occurred on Thursday morning: on a level crossing there was a head-on collision between an approaching train and a car. A woman from Burgenland was driving with her 17-year-old son on the L435 towards Untermayerhofen. Shortly after 11 a.m. there was a collision with a train on a level crossing that was secured with a stop sign and an Andrew’s cross.
