Reportedly, a woman who allegedly insulted a demo participant on the sidelines of an identitarian meeting was fined 100 euros. She does not want to pay the fine and wants to take action. Author Michael Bonvalot, who is in contact with her, sees unequal treatment.
Does this spokesman justify a fine of 100 euros? During the “repatriation tour” of the right-wing extremist “Die Österreicher” on May 14 in Steyr, a counter-demonstrator is said to have said to a participant: “Look, the Nazis are buying kebabs from the Turks”. Reason enough for the Steyr agents to consider the woman with an administrative fine of 100 euros. According to the warrant, this was a gross violation of “generally recognized principles of good morals”…
‘Woman is completely outraged’
“The woman is completely outraged and will certainly not pay,” explains the operator of the standpunkt.press platform, Michael Bonvalot, who is in contact with the woman. For him it was “completely unclear” why the Upper Austrian police intervened in such a case and how they found out about the alleged statement – after all, there was not a police officer to be seen for miles around…
Nazi tattoos in the outdoor pool were no reason for intervention
Bonvalot suspects that the Upper Austrian police “very specifically” want to intimidate anti-fascist groups. For him it was ‘interesting’ in comparison that in the case in which a man in Braunau was reported with Nazi tattoos, the police did not want to intervene, but when the woman testified, the executive even issued the sentence itself.
