The man from the Linz-Land district walked in Neuhofen/Krems in the direction of Kematen/Krems at 7:16 am in a heavily drunken state. He walked along the sidewalk next to the B139, accompanied by his 25-year-old girlfriend. According to his own statements, due to his alcoholism, he stumbled into the roadway and was hit by the oncoming car, driven by a 23-year-old.
Thrown aside
The man was thrown sideways by the impact and was injured. The two women immediately administered first aid and started the rescue chain.
Accident victims only calmed down when they were hit unintentionally
However, the 27-year-old did not appreciate this attempt, instead screaming and lashing out until he accidentally caught his girlfriend in the face. This one was not injured.
