Christian Mooslechner from Filzmoos, as a local manager with a workload of 60 hours a week, does not believe in waiving half of the salary adjustment again – as the only mayor in Pongau. The 59-year-old gives important reasons why this subject is in the way.
Christian Mooslechner (SPÖ) has been mayor of Filzmoos for four years. “Full time,” explains the 59-year-old. He has no time for anything else. “So for me it’s not 40, but rather 60 hours a week.” De Pongauer points to the high hourly workload because he disagrees with the course of the state and the Salzburg Association of Municipalities. It was recently decided that all politicians in the state may again receive only half of the salary adjustment from 2024, namely 4.85 instead of 9.7 percent.
