The asyndic movement Ertzainas in Fight resumes its protests with caravan vehicles on September 4 with a tour of Behobia in San Sebastián to the border with France to demand “a decent deal” for the Ertzaintza.

This platform began its journey in early May last year with a demonstration in the streets of Bilbao, held outside the union initiative to demand “a dignified regulatory agreement” and which, according to the organizers of the march, gathered 4,000 ertzainas.

From then on, they continue their mobilizations with different forms of protest, such as caravans or vehicles, to give visibility to the labor dispute, which they will resume in the next political course after the summer break.

In fact, the non-union movement has already announced that they will drive the Behobia highway to the border on the 4th of next month, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., demanding that the citizens have “patience” with them due to the traffic problems that they can cause, as they have been “more than 12 years without a deal”.

For their part, the power stations that are part of the Ertzaintza Union Unit, ErNE, Esan, Sipe and Euspel, are also preparing to mobilize again after the summer holidays, with a concentration on the occasion of the first meeting of the Council of the Basque Government at the end of this month of August at the Miramar Palace in San Sebastián.
