On August 11, the rescuers went to Vorau (Styria) to deal with a serious accident – we reported. Now it is a sad certainty: the 15-year-old moped rider did not survive the collision with the car. He succumbed to his injuries on August 16.
The 15-year-old was driving his moped on the municipal road in Vorau around 7 p.m. and intended to turn left onto the L 405. At the intersection there was a collision with a car coming from the left.
Died in hospital
The moped rider was thrown over the car and sustained life-threatening injuries. The rescue helicopter transported the 15-year-old to the LKH Graz. Police announced on Friday that he died in hospital on August 16 from his serious injuries.
