A postman (50) was bitten by a mongrel dog on Tuesday morning as she entered a locked building in St. Veit an der Glan in Carinthia.
The grounds in St. Veit an der Glan are fenced and locked with a chain. Why the postman was still able to enter the building is still under investigation. Immediately after entering the building, she was bitten on the left lower leg by the mixed-breed dog.
Injury reported
A witness, hearing the dog bark loudly, rushed to the aid of the injured man and treated the wound. The postman reported the incident to St. Veit/Glan Police Station and then went to see a doctor herself.
