It is unbelievable what is driving around on our home roads: with almost 3 per thousand alcohol in the blood, a Hungarian (38) raced with a truck on the Inntalautobahn A12 in the Tyrolean lowlands on Tuesday evening. The drunkard was taken away by the police.
Shortly before 7:30 p.m., the truck became the target of a highway police patrol after it swerved on the A12 near Jenbach (Schwaz district) in the direction of Innsbruck.
Truck immediately removed from traffic
Officers then removed the truck from traffic. When they checked the steering wheel, they must have been amazed. “The 38-year-old Hungarian turned out to be seriously drunk. A test showed a value of 2.9 promille,” say the researchers.
