In the night of Saturday, a speeder with no less than 235 km / h ended up on the network of the Viennese police. Without a license and under the influence of drugs, the Viennese tried to evade a police check on the outskirts of the city.
Earlier, the civilian patrol became aware of the car due to heavy smoke. When the officers signaled the driver to stop, he appeared to follow her for a short time. But just before the highway exit, he changed his mind and pressed the accelerator.
235 km/h on the highway
The young speed demon then accelerated his vehicle to a whopping 235 km/h on the northern peripheral highway (S2) in Donaustadt. Only 100 km/h is allowed on the route. Shortly afterwards, the fugitive driver, traveling northbound, changed lanes on the S2 at a roundabout to get rid of the civilian patrol car that was chasing him.
Again he accelerated to 187 km/h. However, the dangerous escape attempt was soon ended by a civilian patrol.
Under the influence of drugs
During the check it turned out that the driver did not have a valid registration certificate, but that cannabis residues had been seized in the vehicle. A doctor subsequently confirmed the suspicion that the speeder was under the influence of drugs. The mission ended with the driver’s license revoked and multiple reports.
