Special mission for the professional fire brigade of Innsbruck on Friday evening. A tractor team lost tens of thousands of carrots and distributed them on the Tyrolean national highway.
It is nothing new that objects occasionally fall from a truck or other vehicle. However, it gets strange when the load is distributed over the entire street for a few hundred meters. So also on Friday evening in Kranebitten.
A tractor-trailer had lost almost its entire load of carrots. When the driver noticed his accident, the vegetables were already scattered on the Tyrolean national road and were immersed in an orange sea.
Street washed clean again
The Innsbruck professional fire brigade was immediately alerted. This allowed the lost carrots to be washed off the street within a very short time. The roadway was then reopened to traffic.
