An observant hiker was surprised to find strange fragments in a bush in Vienna-Favoriten on Saturday afternoon. He immediately alerted the police because the unusual finds resembled bone fragments.
When officials arrived at the Wienerberg and took a closer look at the finds in the bushes, the suspicion of human bone fragments could not be ruled out.
A medical officer confirmed moments later that these were actually human bones.
