A 36-year-old Pole had completely lost his composure during a festival in Jenbach (Schwaz district) in Tyrol on Sunday evening. The man hit another guest on the head several times with a glass bottle. The victim fled. Eventually the Pole also caught a woman.
At the so-called ‘Zonen Festl’ on Achenseestrasse in Jenbach, the 36-year-old Pole blew all the fuses on Sunday. At around 12:20 p.m., he repeatedly hit an opponent on the head with a glass bottle. “The victim then fell to the ground, but then got up again and fled,” police said.
That’s not all. When a 21-year-old local resident intervened to prevent the attacker from beating the victim further, the young woman was also punched in the face by the Pole.
Police are now looking for witnesses
The Jenbach police inspectorate is now asking visitors to the Zonen Festl and witnesses to the incident for useful information. The unknown man was wearing blue jeans and a ripped black T-shirt.
