Around noon on Sunday, a Croat got into an argument with the girlfriend of a 24-year-old man from Klagenfurt over a parking space for a lido in Klagenfurt. When the two men crossed again about an hour later, the Croat attacked the man from Klagenfurt with several blows to the head and body and pushed him to the ground.
The gun got out of the car
“Then the Croat took a gun from his vehicle and pointed it at the man from Klagenfurt. Then he drove off. A search has been launched,” the state police said.
The attacker and his girlfriend were eventually stopped at border control in the Loibl Tunnel and arrested by Eco-Cobra agents. “The weapon has been seized. A provisional gun ban was issued against the 24-year-old and he was taken into custody pending deportation,” said a police officer.
