“Students who are already mentally preparing for the new school year in the last few days of vacation usually find it more pleasant to return to class,” says Ingrid Pirker-Binder, who has a PhD in psychotherapy and many years of experience in her practices in Eisenstadt and Vienna. Therefore, in addition to going to bed earlier, cutting back on computer use and collecting school supplies, she recommends introductory conversations between parents and children.
