Fund in Wiener Park – bone remains: According to the police, no fault of third parties

After human bone remains were discovered in Vienna-Favoriten on Saturday afternoon, the forensic report requested on Wednesday showed that third-party negligence can be ruled out.

An enthusiastic pedestrian called 911 when he saw the human remains in a bush. Police later found that the dead man’s head had been separated from the body by several feet. And: According to reports, there was a coin-sized hole in the man’s skull cap. Therefore, a murder investigation was immediately launched.

Identity not yet definitively established
However, during the autopsy, there was no evidence or indication of third party guilt as the cause of death. The identity of the deceased has not yet been definitively established, further DNA comparisons are underway. The exact circumstances are still part of the investigation.
