It was Tuesday, August 16, 2022, when the then 15-year-old, who had converted to Islam, observed it very strictly and married a man under Islamic law, disappeared. The girl had a passport and the Koran with her. On the day of her disappearance, she met a social worker at the juvenile detention center in Innsbruck where she lived. The teenager was carrying a large backpack – she emphasized that she wants to meet a friend for a picnic. The day before she disappeared, she told a relative that she was planning to go abroad with her husband. She named the two cities Munich and Cologne.
Since then there has been no trace of Sara. The police investigation is ongoing. The case was broadcast on Servus TV in “Fahlung Austria”, but the crucial information was not forthcoming. And even private detective Jürgen Trovato, who gained fame through a former German TV show and is also investigating the case, hasn’t really been able to shed any light on the matter.
