Major operation early Thursday morning: Police stopped a van on the outskirts of Linz, in Rudolfstraße, in which there were reportedly about twenty people, including nine children. The suspicion: another smuggler who was working here. A mother fled with her baby and is wanted.
The van, a nine-seater Ford Transit with Polish registration plates, was apprehended Thursday morning. The smuggler is said to be a Georgian. According to initial information, he identified himself with a fake driver’s license, but the police were able to clarify his true identity.
