At the end of June, a brutal attack took place on a parcel delivery person on Vienna’s Wagramerstrasse, as the Krone already reported. The perpetrator is still on the run. Now the police have released photos of the stranger.
It all started with an innocent conversation between the parcel deliverer and the passerby. But soon a dispute arose about the origin of the supplier. The argument escalated until fists flew.

The suspect hit the man in the back of the head, causing him to fall to the ground. The suspect then kicked the victim, who was lying on the ground, with his feet and knees and stabbed him with a knife. He hit the parcel delivery boy’s thigh.

The stranger then fled in the direction of Steigenteschgasse. Even if the suspect’s handcuffs had not yet been clicked, photos could now be published.
Witnesses who noticed the suspect before, during or after his escape are asked to contact the police. Tips (also anonymous) can be requested from the Vienna State Criminal Investigation Department, Northern Department, on telephone number 01-31310-67800.
