The series of smugglers arrested in Upper Austria seems to continue on Monday: According to the first information, a vehicle with almost 40 people was arrested on Rohrbacher Straße (B127). It is probably the fourth seizure within days on this new tractor route.
Whether it is actually (again) a transport by smuggler is not yet clear. There should have been at least about 40 people in the vehicle.
According to initial information, the van was stopped as part of a priority check in the Pöstlingberg region. The alleged smugglers are said to have fled to an adjacent forest area.
Apparently around Linz
The police stopped several vans with refugees in recent days. Last Thursday on the outskirts of Linz. The car, a nine-seat Ford Transit with Polish license plates, was carrying about 20 people, including nine children.
