The bars of the “Sunken City” on the Danube Island with international gastronomy, floating bars, lounges and beach clubs are very popular with many Viennese. Especially on hot days and sultry summer nights. But at the Reichsbrücke under the lighthouse, no stone is left unturned. The area is being completely redecorated – as we reported. The current building will be demolished. The city wants to clean up here and calls it a ‘comprehensive facelift’.
