Wild scenes may have occurred on Sunday evening at a gas station in Kematen (Innsbruck-Land district). After avoiding a collision between a taxi and a tractor, the two drivers collided. One of the two ended up in hospital.
At approximately 2:37 a.m., both the tractor driver (18) and a local taxi driver (32) were on the premises of a gas station. There may have been a near collision between the two vehicles. This led to a serious argument.

According to initial findings, the taxi driver was attacked by the tractor driver. He then defended himself with pepper spray. The 18-year-old local man was injured and had to be taken to the clinic in Innsbruck. After his treatment he was released. A breath test performed on him revealed moderate alcoholism.
