On Tuesday morning, a collision occurred between a van and a car at the intersection of Bahnhofgurtel and Zollgasse in Graz, in which the driver of the car was injured. The unknown driver of the van continued driving after a short stop.
At approximately 5:45 a.m., a van driven by an unknown person was traveling north along the station belt. A 50-year-old from the Graz area drove her car behind. Both intended to cross the intersection with Zollgasse in a straight direction.
The 50-year-old stated that the van in front of her came to an unexpected stop on the intersection plateau. Despite braking, the 50-year-old was unable to avoid a collision. The unknown person apparently continued the journey and stopped briefly at the next bus stop, but did not get out of the vehicle. Finally the journey continued north.
The 50-year-old suffered injuries in the incident and was taken to UKH Graz.
