While a woman from Klagenfurt was walking on a sidewalk near the Alpen-Adria University on Tuesday evening, she was sexually harassed by an unknown man. The 39-year-old was only able to escape through fierce resistance.
The woman from Klagenfurt was walking along the sidewalk of Ginzkeygasse on Tuesday around 8 p.m., pushing her bicycle next to her, when an unknown man offered to push the two-wheeler for her. “Suddenly, the stranger grabbed the 39-year-old from behind with both hands and touched her on intimate parts of her body. He also tried to pull the woman to the ground,” police said.
Put the perpetrators on the run
The victim fought back fiercely and eventually managed to get away from the perpetrator and allow him to flee. The woman from Klagenfurt immediately called the police, after which a search was immediately started with several patrols and the emergency room. However, the search has been negative so far.
