An 11-year-old, uninvolved girl was fatally wounded by a gunshot during a chase in the Bronx, New York. Two suspects on a motorcycle had followed a pedestrian on Monday afternoon (local time) and tried to shoot him, police said at a news conference. A bullet hit the girl in the abdomen.
It was initially taken to a clinic in critical condition. There he succumbed to his injuries. The 11-year-old is the second child shot dead in the Bronx this year, police said.
